The following maintenance schedule is
highly recommended by BMW to obtain and maintain Peak Performance of
your BMW. If you would like an estimate on any of the work shown
below, please call us for details. If you choose to drop your
vehicle off, we will always call with a quote prior to commencing
work on your BMW.
Every 6000 miles BMW Service
Oil change
Check all fluid levels (power steering, coolant; transmission,
windshield washer)
Check brakes ( including parking brake)
Check battery and cables
Check all lights
Inspect belts
Inspection I - BMW Service
In addition to all of the above ( see BMW owner manual )
Replace micro-filter
Change automatic transmission fluid, filter and gasket (if
applicable)
Readout of diagnostic system;
Lube slide rails of sunroof;
Inspect AC compressor mount bolts;
Grease bearing-points and moving parts of throttle butterfly linkage
Tighten nuts and bolts of door locks and striker plate;
Oil hinges of door, hood and trunk lid;
Check:
Valve clearance; adjust if necessary;
AC system;
Cooling system, connection and hoses;
Steering gear and power steering;
Oil level in rear axle;
Visually check fuel tank, lines and connections for leaks;
Tire pressure and condition;
Exhaust system;
Brakes system
Wipers and washer sys;
Ground connection of SRS front sensor screws to body;
Inspection II - BMW Service
Replace air filter
Change oil in manual transmission;
Replace spark plugs (2001 and newer BMW's replace every 100,000
miles)
In addition to all of the above includes:
Replace fuel filter;*
Replace Oxygen sensor *( for 528 e)
Check drive belt tension;
Every 50000 Miles BMW Service
Replace Oxygen Sensor
Every 2 Years BMW Service
Replace coolant (coolant flush) (this is a very important service
due to the harsh, high heat driving conditions in the Houston area)
Annual BMW Service
Replace brakes fluids (brakes flush)
Check operation of Master Cylinder and service
Inspect for leaks
